COVID-19 and Class Schedule

Red River Judo Family, Friends and Teammates,

As many of you have, we have recently heard from the Governor’s office and the West Fargo/Fargo School districts that K-12 classes will be cancelled for the rest of the week due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus). Red River Judo has always followed the advice of the Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo school system and in this instance is no different.

Red River Judo will be taking the following week off with classes tentatively resuming on the on the 30th of March. Over the following week we will be monitoring the situation and working with our school system contacts at NDSU and the Elementary and High School systems about what we can do to help any further.

The Red River Judo team hopes that by taking this time off, we can help to decrease risk and exposure to not only the COVID-19 virus, but also any seasonal bugs that may be floating around that could be confused for COVID-19.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email RedRiverJudo@gmail.com or post on our Facebook page and we will do our best to assist in any way possible. We will be sharing some instructional videos from members of the Judo community over the next week, so please keep an eye out.

Please know and trust that we are not making this decision lightly, we love Judo and the Grappling arts, but more then that, we value and respect the well-being of our students, staff and family, on and off the mat.

Respectfully,
The Red River Judo Team.
